Welcome to the Imperial Lead Provider North West London haematology training programme.
Our scheme prepares post-graduate trainees for a career in haematology, by offering a wide breadth of practical experience in hospitals with large and extensive haematology services.
Training is run by Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust as well as four District General Hospitals (DGHs). Imperial College Healthcare maintains one of the largest clinical haematology services in the UK and is the designated national centre for stem cell transplantation, haemophilia care and haemoglobinopathies.
All of our haematology laboratories are Clinical Pathology Accredited (CPA), and have a long standing history of hosting multi-professional training.
Imperial College Healthcare is internationally recognised for research opportunities. Trainees can apply for academic clinical fellowship positions throughout the programme.
There are currently six academic clinical fellows and two clinical lecturers working at the Trust.
