Paediatric surgery

The Pan London paediatric surgery training programme is delivered at a mixture of teaching hospitals, specialty specific hospitals and district general hospitals. Trainees spend one to two years at each training location, and are expected to complete four theatre lists and up to two outpatient clinics per week to build experience and knowledge.

Trainees have the opportunity to gain sub-specialty, day case surgery, emergency surgery and academic and research experience throughout the programme.

Paediatric surgery faculty continually review all clinical training placements to ensure they are high quality.
