Welcome to the North West London renal medicine training programme led by Imperial Lead Provider. Our trainees gain extensive experience in all aspect of renal care thanks to our comprehensive training options and unique delivery.

Training is delivered at Local Education Providers (LEPs) including the Renal and Transplant Centre at Hammersmith Hospital  which is one of the largest renal units in the UK. The centre is internationally renowned for high quality patient outcomes, and providing innovative management of immunological renal disease, dialysis and complex transplantation. The centre is also home to an outstanding renal laboratory and pioneering clinical research.

The renal medicine programme provides trainees with lots of opportunities to take part in academic research, education and teaching, and healthcare management. Imperial College Healthcare provides academic training for the largest cohort of renal medicine trainees in the UK. Many of our trainees undertake funded PhDs and MDs, as well as Academic Clinical Fellowships (ACFs).
